It was a short dance career for fraud-convicted Netflix profile Anna Sorokin. She was the first to be voted out of the entertainment program "Dancing with the Stars", the American equivalent of "Let's Dance".
Anna Sorokin, who under the name Anna Delvey deceived banks, hotels, and friends that she was a German heiress, was one of the season's more controversial participants, not least because she is still under house arrest and was forced to dance with an ankle monitor.
After Tuesday's performance to KT Tunstall's "Suddenly I See" together with dance professional Ezra Sosa, the journey was over for Sorokin, who received the fewest votes from the viewers.
When asked by the host what she takes with her from the competition, Sorokin replied: "Nothing." In an interview with "Good Morning America" on Wednesday morning, she claimed that the best part of the experience was being eliminated.
Also, "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress Tori Spelling had to leave the program.
