The so-called dawn arsonist is being prosecuted again. He was caught on film as he vandalized cars on a large scale in Norrköping and is therefore being prosecuted for 48 cases of aggravated vandalism, reports Sydsvenskan. It was in April last year that hundreds of people in the city had their cars vandalized over a few nights.
The now 61-year-old man has been called the dawn arsonist since the early 2000s, when he was suspected of a series of fires set during the morning hours, primarily in Skåne. He has only been convicted of a fraction of the fires he was suspected of. In 2011, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for aggravated arson against a multi-family house in Ystad.
