The Board for Handicraft Issues is being shut down. The authority will be phased out and its tasks will instead be sorted under the State Cultural Council.
The decision will make the state administration more purposefully organized and less fragmented and is a step in the government's efforts to reduce the number of authorities, according to a press release from the Ministry of Culture.
