Nearly 46,000 working days were lost last year due to conflicts, according to the Mediation Institute, reports Sveriges Radio Ekot.
Not since 2008 have so many working days been affected by conflicts between trade unions and employers on the Swedish labour market.
The Mediation Institute's compilation shows that the Swedish Association of Health Professionals' strike accounted for over seven out of ten conflict days, and IF Metall's long strike at Tesla, which started in October 2023, almost 15,000 days.
