Manchester United's criticised manager Erik ten Hag is staying at the club. This is reported by The Athletic, Sky Sports, and BBC.
The 54-year-old started his time at United strongly and led the club to victory in the League Cup in 2023. However, the last season was significantly worse. United finished eighth in the Premier League and were eliminated from the Champions League already in the group stage. The season did, however, end more enjoyably for ten Hag as United won the FA Cup after defeating local rivals Manchester City at Wembley.
Despite this, the season has still been marked by massive criticism, and there has been intense speculation about his future.
Now, it seems that everything indicates that ten Hag will stay at United. British media are writing that ten Hag has had positive meetings with United's leadership, who are now convinced that a continuation is the best option.
