Sweden's Teachers are warning of taking out their members at Birger Jarl Upper Secondary School in Stockholm on strike. The reason is that the school has not signed a collective agreement, writes the trade union in a press release.
"Sweden's Teachers' members at this workplace should have the same rights and conditions as almost all other teachers guaranteed through collective agreements", says Elisabet Mossberg, deputy chief negotiator at Sweden's Teachers, in the press release.
"When the employer does not want to sign it, despite many prompts over a long time, a conflict warning is completely necessary", she continues.
The strike breaks out at 08:00 on September 12, if no agreement has been reached by then.
