The official at the Tax Authority who disclosed the woman's secrecy-marked address explains the mistake by being unfocused, writes Hem & Hyra.
The woman had lived with secrecy marking for eight years after being subjected to serious threats from her child's father. The man is convicted of, among other things, serious violation of women's peace and was since a while married to another woman, according to Hem & Hyra.
When the new wife was to apply for divorce from the man, she applied for a family certificate from the Tax Authority and then received the protected address information about the mother of two.
The mother of two found out that the address information had been disclosed but chose to stay for two years since the man was deprived of liberty. When he started getting furlough, she chose to move.
The Chancellor of Justice decided on compensation to the mother of two of almost 33,000 kronor for, among other things, moving costs and mental suffering. The amount was clearly lower than what the woman had requested as the JK meant that the move was not acute since it was delayed for two years.
