An industrial area in the city of Hassia outside Homs in Syria was attacked on Thursday night, according to state-controlled Syrian media.
According to initial reports, a car factory was attacked, resulting in material damage, according to the regime-controlled news agency Sana.
The oppositional London-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory (SOHR) reports that it is an Iranian car factory.
A military position in Hamah north of Homs was also attacked, according to a Syrian military source. It is said to be an area with air defense and government forces, according to SOHR.
Israel rarely comments on individual attacks in Syria, but has repeatedly stated that they will not allow Iran and its proxy groups to expand their presence in the region.
Iran and Hezbollah have been among the Syrian government's most important allies in the more than ten-year-long civil war in the country.
