Swedish prosecutors have requested his extradition to Sweden through a Nordic arrest warrant.

He is also suspected of a murder in Hallstahammar on September 19 last year.

"He was identified in connection with the crimes against Israel's embassies in Stockholm and Copenhagen", says senior prosecutor Anna Elmlöv in a press release.

The request was tried in the Copenhagen City Court on Wednesday. The court decided that the teenager will be extradited to Sweden when the legal process is completed in Denmark.

The 17-year-old has been detained in Denmark since October 2024. He is suspected of transporting hand grenades and then throwing two of them at a rooftop terrace in Hellerup north of Copenhagen, where the Israeli embassy is located.

A 20-year-old Swede is also suspected of the same crime and is also detained in Denmark. Both are suspected of terrorist offenses in the country.

On Friday, a decision was made to extradite the 20-year-old from Denmark to Sweden due to suspected involvement in a murder in Malmö.

It is only the 17-year-old who is suspected of the shooting at the Israeli embassy in Stockholm, which occurred on October 1, 2024. The day after, two hand grenades exploded near the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen.
