Three Swedes are sentenced to ten years in prison each for a murder in Bosnia's capital Sarajevo last autumn, reports Barometern and P4 Kalmar, citing Bosnian media.
It was in October 2023 that a 30-year-old Swedish man – linked to the criminal Foxtrot network – was shot dead with multiple shots on a street in the city. Another man was lightly injured in the shooting.
The murdered man has been identified in a police investigation as involved in planning the murder of the mother of gang leader Ismail Abdo.
Abdo previously had close ties to Foxtrot leader Rawa Majid but they are now on opposite sides after a violent conflict that broke out last autumn.
The murder of the mother was prepared in encrypted chats. The murdered man in Sarajevo is believed to have been one of the persons who gave instructions to the shooter. According to several media outlets, the three convicted Swedes are linked to Abdo.
