Sweden will help Ukraine build a 112 system linked to the Ukrainian rescue service. The government has decided to allocate nearly ten million kronor from the aid budget to the project.
Aid Minister Johan Forssell (The Moderate Party) points out that Ukraine's alarm system is currently struggling with several problems.
There are several different numbers, and problems with long response times, he says.
Forssell hopes that a new functioning alarm system will be in place later this year.
