The Swedish artist Oscar Stembridge has been eliminated from the American version of "Talent". The 16-year-old competed in the quarterfinals but did not advance, despite music mogul Simon Cowell's praise, writes Aftonbladet.
You're a little diamond. I would love to work with you, said Cowell after the Swede's performance.
Stembridge got a record deal at the age of ten and has since released a debut EP, won the award for newcomer of the year at the Denniz Pop Awards, participated in "Allsång på Skansen" and played the lead role in the SVT series "Kär".
Stembridge is the second Swede to compete in the program, which is called "America's Got Talent" in English. The first was Chris Kläfford in 2019.
