A woman in her 70s has been found dead in a residence in Norrköping. According to the police, there are "unclear circumstances" – therefore, an investigation was initiated with the crime classification of murder.
The police were alerted to the residence just after 7 pm on Wednesday. During the night, several interviews were conducted, as well as a technical investigation, but no one has been arrested or suspected.
We must set a crime classification in order to take certain technical measures, says Mats Pettersson, press spokesperson for the police.
There is no threat or connection to other criminal activity. "There is also no reason for the public to feel any concern due to what has happened", the police write.
