The alarm came in at 15:40 after a fight in the Linero district. At the scene, outdoors in a residential area, a wounded man in his 30s was found and taken to hospital by ambulance. He is believed to have been injured with some kind of stabbing weapon.

Shortly afterwards, another man of the same age was found near the scene. He was also taken to hospital by ambulance with less severe injuries.

Our understanding is that both were injured in this incident, which is being investigated as attempted murder, says police spokesperson Fredrik Bratt.

A large operation has been underway at the scene during the afternoon. The police, supported by heavily armed personnel from the special response unit, carried out a raid on a nearby apartment building and took two people with them.

Just before 18:00, the police confirmed that two people have been detained, but will not comment on the individuals or the circumstances surrounding the detention.
