The police have lifted the cordons at Östra cemetery in Malmö. The area was cordoned off after the discovery of two suspected hazardous objects.
We have been able to handle them in a safe manner and remove them from there, says the police's press spokesperson Katarina Rusin.
The objects will be examined and it is still unclear whether they are hazardous, she states.
The first was found in the morning by police officers who were there for investigative work. Since it was not possible to rule out that the object was hazardous, the area was cordoned off and the national bomb squad was called in.
Later in the morning, the cordons were extended after the discovery of another suspected hazardous object.
