A traffic accident involving a bus occurred during the night on E22. On board the bus was IK Oskarshamn's supporter club Blue Front Support, reports Barometern.
I know that we have one injured person in the hospital right now. A deer jumped over the road and the bus braked for it. They had to change bus drivers and one person was taken away by ambulance, says Thérese Elofsson, club manager of IK Oskarshamn, to Barometern-OT.
The injured passenger is a man in his 30s, who is being treated in the ICU with serious injuries.
The accident occurred on E22 between Valdemarsvik and Edsbruk. The bus was on its way home from Södertälje after yesterday's match, a match that Oskarshamn lost with 3–10.
