Mining group Boliden reports an operating profit of 4.8 billion kronor for the second quarter of the year. This can be compared to the profit of 874 million kronor during the corresponding quarter last year.
The significant profit increase is explained, among other things, by an insurance income of 2.4 billion kronor.
Sales revenues rose to 22.8 billion kronor, up from 18.4 billion.
