Locally, up to 15 centimeters of snow can fall, but a lot of what falls is expected to melt away.
The warning for the Norrbotten mountains applies to wind in combination with snowfall from Monday morning. On the mountains, reduced visibility can make it difficult to orient oneself.
From Monday afternoon, snowfall is expected in several areas in Kiruna and Gällivare municipalities in northernmost Norrbotten, which can be abundant and cause traffic problems, delays, and cancelled departures in bus, train, and air traffic.
The latter warning remains in place even on Tuesday.
On Tuesday and Thursday, extensive low-pressure systems are expected to pass over Sweden, which will bring precipitation over large parts of the country.
