Stellan Skarsgård and Elle Fanning star in Norwegian director Joachim Trier's new film "Sentimental Value", reports Deadline. For his previous film, "The World's Worst Man", Joachim Trier was nominated for two Oscars, one for Best International Film and one for Best Original Screenplay.
The lead role in "Sentimental Value" is once again played by Renate Reinsve, who played the lead role in "The World's Worst Man".
"Sentimental Value" is about two sisters whose absent father (Skarsgård) reappears in their lives and wants the eldest daughter Nora (Reinsve) to play the lead role in his film, but Nora doesn't want anything to do with him.
Elle Fanning is to play an American film star visiting Oslo.
Stellan Skarsgård has previously told Norwegian VG that he thinks it's "about time" that he and Trier find a joint project. "Sentimental Value" begins filming in Oslo in November.
