Billion Profit for Retail Chain Normal

The Danish low-price chain Normal, which among other things sells cosmetics, continues to grow strongly.

During the latest financial year, the turnover increased by 39.6 percent to 12.1 billion Danish kronor.

During the financial year, Normal opened 222 new stores, and currently, there are over 130 stores on the Swedish market. In total, the chain has over 800 stores in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Holland, France, Finland, Portugal, and Spain.

The profit before tax was reported in the financial statement to approximately 865 million Danish kronor, equivalent to around 1.3 billion Swedish kronor.

Behind the retail chain's success lies, among other things, marketing through social media and specializing in offering low-price products largely targeting young people.

The company is not listed on the stock exchange and is owned by an investment company.
