The sequel "Shrek 5" will have its premiere in 2026, according to Variety.
The film company Dreamworks Animation can now confirm that "Shrek 5" is officially underway. The returning voice actors Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz are part of the cast. It is still unclear which Swedish actors will be used for dubbing.
But fans of the green troll will have to wait a long time for the film, which does not have its premiere until July 1, 2026.
