The police are investigating a suspected serious crime in Ljusdal.

A person has been found with very serious injuries in a residence. We suspect that a crime may be behind it, says the police's press spokesperson Magnus Jansson Klarin.

The injured person is being treated at the hospital with serious injuries.

The alarm came in at 2 pm on Tuesday.

The police are tight-lipped about the incident and do not want to say anything about the gender or age of the injured person.

All we can say is that it is an adult person, says Magnus Jansson Klarin.

The police also do not want to say which crime classification is applicable.

Some people who were in the residence have been questioned, but no suspect has been arrested.

On Wednesday, a technical investigation of the residence will be conducted.
