A primary school in Norrköping was closed on Friday due to threats. On Monday, the school will reopen with extended security guard surveillance and police presence, the municipality writes in a press release.

It is a thorough risk assessment that has been made together with the police and the municipality's security and safety department, says Jonas Eriksson, education director at Norrköping Municipality, to Norrköping Tidningar.

The decision to close was made after the police received a tip about a written threat against the school. In a letter to guardians that, according to NT, was sent out on Sunday, it appears that the police assess that there is no threat against the school.

We feel confident in the decision and I think that students and staff can also feel confident in the decision, says Eriksson.
