Schibsted slashes workforce

Norwegian Schibsted is to get rid of around 250 employees in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, the company announces in a stock exchange notice.

The downsizing is part of a cost-cutting and efficiency programme to streamline Schibsted Marketplace after the company's split, where the media operations were divided into a separate company.
