Scan recalls packages of "Classic Sausage" 640 grams with the label "Classic Grill Sausage" due to a warning about listeria, according to the company in a press release.
This only concerns packages with a production date of May 31 and a best-before date of June 30.
According to the company, it is a precautionary measure after finding listeria bacteria on the same production line where the sausage has been packaged.
Listeria can cause serious illness in pregnant women, the elderly, and people with impaired immunity. The bacteria die at a temperature of 72 degrees Celsius.
