Russia put the deceased Russian regime critic Aleksey Navalny's widow, Julia Navalnaya, on its black list of "terrorists" and "extremists" on Thursday. This occurred two days after she was formally wanted in Russia.
The 47-year-old national economist Navalnaya is in exile and has become a leading figure among Russian opposition since her husband's death under unclear circumstances in an Arctic prison camp in February.
Navalnaya's personal data appeared on Thursday on a list compiled by Rosfinmonitoring, the Russian Federation's financial monitoring committee. Rosfinmonitoring's task is to work against the financing of people and organizations that Moscow considers to be "terrorists" or engage in "extremism".
