The Kremlin believes that Kamala Harris, who is tipped to become the Democratic presidential candidate, has used "hostile rhetoric" against Russia.
There have been some statements that were full of hostile rhetoric against our country, says the Kremlin's spokesperson Dmitrij Peskov to Russian media.
Harris has, like Biden, supported Ukraine ever since the full-scale Russian invasion began in February 2022. She has called Russia's actions "cruel", "barbaric", and "inhuman".
Earlier this year, she said that opposition leader Alexej Navalny's death was "further evidence of Putin's brutality".
Dmitrij Peskov also says that the Kremlin has not "noted anything she has done regarding (US and Russia's) bilateral relations, neither positively nor negatively."
