Russia claims to have shot down 75 Ukrainian drones during the night towards Monday. 47 of them are said to have been stopped over the Rostov region, 17 over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, and 11 in other areas, including one over the border region of Belgorod.
Local authorities in the port city of Tuapse on the Black Sea say that debris from a downed drone led to a fire at an oil refinery.
"The Kiev regime has once again tried to attack civilian infrastructure in Tuapse with drones," the authorities write on the messaging service Telegram.
Russia reports almost daily that Ukrainian drones have been stopped. According to Ukraine, the drones are a response to Russian attacks targeting military and civilian targets in Ukraine.
