FC Rosengård has made it clear with a new club manager. The experienced Joel Sandborg steps into the organization immediately.
"I see the role of club manager in FC Rosengård as one of the most exciting assignments in all categories within Swedish football. FC Rosengård is a unique association with social projects that are absolutely top-class", says Sandborg in a press release.
Sandborg has previously worked at, among other things, Swedish Elite Football (Sef) and the Swedish Football Association, and comes most recently from the role as CEO and club manager in Helsingborgs IF.
"Joel is entirely right to lead us further in our ongoing development work. He has a very solid background in management in the sports world, strong competence in marketing issues and long experience of elite football", says Rosengård's chairman Håkan Wifvesson.
Johan Glennmo has acted as interim club manager during the spring since Jenny Damgaard left the assignment last winter.
Rosengård tops the women's top division after 14 played rounds.
