The Rolling Stones are now part of the popular game Roblox, writes NME.
The idea is that the approximately 80-year-old rock icons will entertain the audience in the children's favourite Roblox via "Beat Galaxy" – record label Universal's own corner on the gaming platform.
There, players will, among other things, be able to acquire virtual Rolling Stones merchandise and go on a tour along an interactive track with Rolling Stones songs.
"Taking our music to Beat Galaxy's virtual world is an innovative way to connect with our new and existing fans," the band members themselves are quoted as saying in a statement.
