Robert Downey Jr is now returning to a role in the "Marvel" series. In the upcoming "Avengers" films, he takes on the mask as the new character Doctor Doom, writes Expressen.
The news was revealed at the Comic Con convention in San Diego, where the new film's director Joe Russo warmed up the audience.

The previous role as Iron Man in the "Marvel" films made Robert Downey Jr one of the world's highest-paid actors.
The two upcoming "Avengers" films featuring Downey Jr are planned for May 2026 and May 2027.
Earlier this year, Downey Jr received an Oscar for his performance in "Oppenheimer". He is also currently working on the series "The Sympathizer" on HBO Max.
