The Italian customs have made a record-large seizure of chemicals used to manufacture narcotics worth 7.3 billion kronor.
The over six-ton heavy seizure was made at Milan's airport and was intended to pass through a company with its headquarters in Milan before being transported further to the Netherlands.
The powder, which was claimed to be polyester powder, turned out to be chemicals from China used to manufacture ecstasy, according to the Italian customs.
An Italian businessman from Milan has been arrested in connection with the seizure and in the Netherlands, two Chinese citizens were arrested.
