May was an unusually hectic month for Copenhagen Airport.
2.7 million passengers passed through the terminals, which is the busiest month in six years, according to a statement from the airport.
Sunday, 12 May, which was both the end of the Ascension Day weekend and the departure day for the thousands of Eurovision Song Contest fans who had visited Saturday's final in Malmö, saw over 107,000 passengers travel to and from the airport.
