North Korea has Russia's full support. This is stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an article published by the state-controlled North Korean news agency KCNA.
Putin also states that Pyongyang "firmly supports" Russia's invasion war in Ukraine.
"We highly appreciate that North Korea firmly supports Russia's special military operation in Ukraine", Putin writes in the article.
The Kremlin has strengthened its contacts with North Korea alongside the ongoing war in Ukraine. North Korea is said to have supplied Russia with weapons, and on Tuesday and Wednesday, Putin is to visit North Korea. The last time he was there was in 2000, but North Korea's leader Kim Jong-Un was in Russia as recently as last autumn.
