The County Administrative Board in Dalarna has decided on protective hunting of a wolf that has been roaming around Smedjebacken, writes Nya Ludvika tidning.
The reason is that it has moved too close to humans and dense residential areas. Among other things, it has moved centrally in Smedjebacken.
We have a situation where the wolf appears near humans, within 30 meters, says wildlife manager Erik Mattsson to the newspaper.
