The Government and the Sweden Democrats want to lower the tax on beer from small breweries, according to Sveriges Radio Ekot. The budget proposal applies to producers who manufacture a maximum of 3 million liters of beer per year.
The Tidö parties have previously indicated that they will implement a range of tax cuts in next year's budget. The proposal for lower tax on microbreweries was not a prioritized issue for The Liberals, according to Ekot.
The idea is to divide breweries into different categories based on how much beer they produce, and those who produce the least will receive the highest tax cut of 50 percent.
According to the information provided to Sveriges Radio, the tax cut will be implemented from July 1, 2025.
