The financial concern Klarna is calling an extraordinary general meeting. The purpose is to dismiss Michael Walther, the representative of co-founder Victor Jacobsson on the board, writes Dagens industri.
According to Michael Walther, it is a response to attempts to stop a bonus program for Klarna's CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski, which could amount to large sums.
The background is an investigation that is said to have found that Michael Walther "on repeated occasions obstructed the management and the board's freedom to act in Klarna's best interest, and its shareholders."
Michael Walther has in a submission described the investigation against him as "deficient, selective, and unfounded."
The extraordinary general meeting will be held on October 24.
