Train traffic was stopped to and from Stockholm at around 15:30. Both regional and long-distance trains were affected.
At around 17:00, the trains started rolling again southbound from Stockholm, and about an hour later, traffic was also underway northbound.
On many routes, subsequent delays persist during the Tuesday evening. Affected SJ passengers can rebook their journey free of charge or cancel and get their money back, regardless of ticket type.
