Ant Wan, one of Sweden's largest hip-hop artists, broke the audience record on Saturday during his concert at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm. A total of 40,899 fans gathered to see the concert, which is now making its way into Swedish hip-hop history, according to the organizer in a press release.
Since 2015, the record has been held by none other than Madonna, who then attracted 40,557 visitors.
For me, you are not fans, for me, you are my family. Whatever happens after the concert, if it ends, I will always love you, said the artist during Saturday's concert, according to Aftonbladet.
The 26-year-old rapper from Västerås, Ant Wan, or Antwan Afram as he is actually named, was previously named both Artist of the Year and Live Artist of the Year at the P3 Gold Gala. Some of his biggest hits are the songs "Malaika" and "Komplicerat".
Last year, Ant Wan became the first Swedish hip-hop artist to sell out Avicii Arena in Stockholm.
