The police have carried out a search warrant at an address believed to have connections to the suspected perpetrator of the shooting in Örebro.

The operation was extensive and heavily armed police were on site, reports NA. Drones were used to search through the window of an apartment, while snipers were positioned on nearby rooftops.

By 5 pm, the initial phase of the operation had been completed, and the cordons were being removed.

However, the police on site still refused to answer questions about the operation to local residents, or say how long the operation at the current location would continue.

Parts of the area behind the apartment building were still cordoned off, reports TT's correspondent.
