A police intervention in connection with a party at home in Halmstad municipality sparked strong reactions after video clips from the incident spread. The police are now being prosecuted for assault, reports Hallandsposten.
It was in March that the police rushed to the party, where several young people were present, after an alarm about assault.
According to Hallandsposten, a heated atmosphere arose after the police arrived, and according to the indictment, the police are said to have hit a 16-year-old with a fist in the face.
The incident was reported to the police department for special investigations and has now led to prosecution.
