A large rescue operation has searched for a person who disappeared at a lake outside Avesta on Saturday.
SOS Alarm was alerted at 4 pm about a person seen going out on the ice to fish but not returning, writes Avesta Tidning.
The police and rescue services initiated a search operation. The Sea Rescue Society also participated in the work with a hovercraft.
Later in the evening, the missing person was found, says Erik Embretsen at the Sea Rescue Society in Dalarna to TT.
The extent of the injuries is not known.
