Per Morberg Returns to TV4 with New Travel Show Featuring Mauri

"I've never been a TV4 guy", said Per Morberg when he left the channel in 2018. Now he's making a comeback – this time in a travel program together with Mauri Hermundsson.

For many years, Morberg was one of TV4's big stars, with programs like "What's for dinner", "Hunting and fishing" and "Sweden's master chef" on the agenda. But eight years ago, he left the channel to start his own cooking program on the web.

When he now returns, it is in the travel program "Mauri and Morberg" where Mauri Hermundsson, together with the popular chef and actor, sets out on trips around the world.

In a press release from TV4, it is more than hinted that tensions arise on the way in the program, which premieres on April 29 on TV4 and TV4 Play.

"I don't want to spoil exactly how it goes, but you can say it became a bit of a nightmare", says Mauri Hermundsson, who also explains that he "both loves" and "is afraid of" Per Morberg.

Morberg seems to share the experience:

"I've worked in this industry for 50 years. This is the worst and the best I've ever done", he says.

In the program, the duo travels to, among other places, Argentina, Japan, and South Africa. Several well-known Swedes – including Carola Häggkvist, Mikael Persbrandt, and Sweden's ambassador to South Africa, Håkan Juholt – appear at the destinations.
