Darian says that she made a report to send a "message to all victims" of sexual abuse who were drugged, not to give up.
A few days after Dominique Pelicot was arrested and it was revealed that he had been drugging his wife Gisèle for years to rape her and invite other men to assault her, the police called Caroline Darian, his daughter.
She later saw photographs of herself that she did not recognize, wearing underwear she had never seen before and in a deep sleep.
The abuse of her mother was filmed, which led to at least 50 perpetrators being convicted.
Dominique Pelicot, 72, was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He has always denied assaulting his daughter.
