A pedestrian, a man in his 20s, has been hit by a car on Highway 61 in Kil's municipality in Värmland, which Nya Wermlands-Tidningen was the first to report on.
He was supposed to have crossed the road and been hit, says Maths Thörn, duty officer at the police to TT.
According to reports, the car's speed was high at the time of the collision.
The injured man was first taken to the hospital in Karlstad.
After that, it was assessed that transport to the University Hospital in Örebro was needed.
The extent of the injuries is unclear. Currently, there is no suspicion of a crime.
The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon.
