Inspections in Östra Göinge conducted by the County Administrative Board ended with over 30 cats and a dog being put down. The animals lived in rooms with piles of feces, stinking urine odor, and a hazardous high level of ammonia. This is evident from a report by the County Administrative Board, according to Norra Skåne.

It was after a tip to the County Administrative Board that the authority conducted an unannounced inspection at a residence last summer and tried to contact the woman who lived there. The reason was that she was alleged to have mistreated her animals. The County Administrative Board conducted recurring inspections at the woman's home, where animals were seized and put down on several occasions.

After the inspections, the County Administrative Board decides that the woman is prohibited from keeping animals, reports the newspaper. This will apply to all types of animals and until further notice.
