A person has been taken to hospital by ambulance after an assault at Tidaholm Prison, reports Aftonbladet.
The incident occurred at around 18:00 on Tuesday.
A person has been assaulted with some kind of weapon, says Ulf Mossberg, press secretary at the Prison and Probation Service to the newspaper.
The police are on the scene to investigate the incident.
