Man Shot to Death in Lund – Boy Arrested

The shooting occurred at the train station in Lund at 18:24 on Tuesday.

The police cannot say whether the man died on the spot or at the hospital.

I know that he was immediately taken to the hospital, but I don't know more than that, says police spokesperson Fredrik Bratt.

The police have arrested a 17-year-old boy near the crime scene. The boy is now suspected of murder.

There were a large number of police who arrived at the scene and we quickly got information that a possible perpetrator had left in a certain direction, says Bratt.

There are reports that more people may have been involved in the shooting, according to the police. Västra stationstorget is cordoned off and the police are interviewing witnesses.
