A large number of people alerted the police about loud bangs on Tuesday evening. No one was injured in the explosion.

A person has been arrested in this case. The person is detained, says the police's press spokesperson Per Fahlström on Wednesday morning.

The person in question is a boy in his late teens. He was arrested in connection with the police operation, according to Per Fahlström.

The police worked on the scene late into the night until Wednesday.

The cordons have been lifted, says Per Fahlström at 07:30.

The case is being handled as reckless endangerment.

The address has previously been targeted in several incidents, reports Aftonbladet. In December 2022, a balcony was shot at and hours later, shots were fired through a residential door in the adjacent portal. The police tell the newspaper that they are investigating whether there is a connection between the incidents.
