It's raining in Committee on the Constitution complaints about the Prime Minister after the twists and turns surrounding Henrik Landerholm, who resigned as national security adviser last week.
After C, V, and MP each made a complaint, S has now also Committee on the Constitution-reported Ulf Kristersson (M).
More to Clarify
The Committee on the Constitution already examined the appointment of Henrik Landerholm in the spring of 2023, specifically his close relationship with Ulf Kristersson and the question of bias, without any comments.
The other parties' complaints concern how long it took before documents became public, the forgotten documents at the conference center, and whether Kristersson's friendship with Landerholm influenced the Government Offices not to file a police report.
But according to Peter Hultqvist, more questions about the recruitment need to be clarified.
They said he was employed as a civil servant and not as a political representative. Then one must follow the recruitment process that applies to the Government Offices, he says.
Compare with Kinberg Batra
According to Hultqvist, Ulf Kristersson personally seems to have appointed the position, without following the normal procedure. According to him, important parts may have been missed.
Was a security clearance conducted? Were references obtained?, he says.
He compares with Anna Kinberg Batra's recruitments to the County Administrative Board in Stockholm.
But here, not even a notice was put up, he says and continues:
I hope the Committee on the Constitution now gets to the bottom of this.
